frozen beauty

I am really in love with this one, so I had to critique!

The first thing that caught my eye was that little patch of pastel colors on the wing...its mesmerizing how perfect they are, and once again I am impressed by nature's highly skilled handiwork on such small creatures. I am not sure if any manipulation has been done here, but the blue and white tones around the butterfly look stunning and work well to bring out that little colorful patch.

I wouldn't consider this piece the most original of all, but the technique and vision with which it was done are outstanding in my opinion, so the impact overall is powerful to me.
I feel a sense of refreshment and calm as I gaze upon this photograph....it is peaceful and exciting at the same time, a magical beauty frozen in time. Thank you, MizzCrunkieh, for sharing this with us!
